The world of foraging is often shrouded in mystery and fear. How do you know which wild plants and mushrooms are edible? How do you know which ones will kill you? How many PhDs do you need to even get started??

When we look at the roots of foraging and wild food gathering we start to see how accessible this seemingly quirky and newfangled activity really is. Everyone has a hidden forager lurking inside them, ready to spring into action once the cobwebs are shaken off of their plant brain.
